Fiat Ventures, based in San Francisco, has closed on it’s very first fund of $25 million which it will use to invest in Fintech, insurtech, as well as proptech companies, building off the original target fund closed back in 2021 for $15 million.
Invesco Private Capital is the anchor investor, with other investors including the likes of DAHG Capital Partners, Joint Effects, Full Spectrum Capital, Temerity Capital Partners, Now Investments, Mountaineer Capital, Permit Ventures as well as fintech operators Jonathan Abelmann from Bestow, Kyle Daley at Chime, and Chinedu Eleanya from Mulberry.
The fund’s first check size is between $250,000 and $500,000 at pre-seed, seed or Series A, and reserves half of its fund for follow-on funding.
