Black Sheep Foods Raises $12.3 Million in Series A Round

San Francisco–based food tech company Black Sheep Foods, which is known for using plants to create a similar flavor to animal meat, has secured $12.3 million in capital from a Series A funding round.

The company raised $5.25 million in a seed round initially.

The Series A funding round was led by Unovis and includes Bessemer Venture Partners, AgFunder, and KBW Ventures, and now brings Black Sheep’s total funding to $18.05 million since they launched back in 2019.
